Friday, October 22 The Great Table on the Great Lawn

Reserve now for The Great Table on the Great Lawn, a reception and dinner under the full, harvest moon that showcases locally grown and organic foods, esteemed regional growers and producers, a stellar guest chef and distinctive culinary experience. Celebrated chef Ken Lyon of Fratelli Lyon Restaurant and Lyon + Lyon Catering will prepare a five-course menu served on a grand table on the Garden's Great Lawn. Exceptional wines from Mattebella Vineyards on Long Island's North Fork will be paired with each course on an extensive menu designed to highlight locally harvested seafood, seasonal fruit and vegetables, locally raised organic meats, cheese and dairy products from Florida farms. At $100 per person (ask about members discount) the event and will raise funds for landscape features in the Garden's new design by acclaimed landscape architect Raymond Jungles. For reservations, call 305-673-7256 Ext 206.

Fotomission presents a workshop on the use of inkjet printers for color and black and white digital output. Mystery on the Menu presents Lights, Camera, Murder! A movie studio is shooting a movie and someone is going to be shot! A one woman interactive murder mystery play with Barbara Fox.
