The 2012 EMLC Calendar has SOLD OUT! Thank you to everyone who made our calendar sale such a success! Keep an eye out for our 2013 calendar, as we have a great theme in store.

The next meeting of the Everglades Moon Local Council Board with our membership will be Saturday, February 25 (or as we like to call it, Coyote-mas!). Â Meeting start time, location, and adgenda will be posted to the e-List. Â Make sure to attend for exciting details about our upcoming Annual Retreat this April 6-8! Â If you haven't already gotten your local tithes in, this meeting would be a great time to get paid up. Â Also, make sure to get your registration from in for our Annual Retreat. Â Spend the weekend camping with your fellow Moonies! |

You can now support EMLC by donating through PayPal! The new menu on the left lets you choose choose a donation amount from the drop-down box, and click the "Add to Cart" button. This will take you to a PayPal checkout page. If you're not done browsing our site, just click the "Continue Shopping" button to return to the EMLC website, then click on our "View Cart" button when you're ready to check out. You'll also be able to pay for your Turning the Tide festival registration or our annual calendar through PayPal.  Links for payment options are posted with the information for each item that can be paid for electronically.  Thanks for your support!

EMLC is a part of the Covenant of the Goddess. The memership process is one that is set out in CoG's bylaws, but has a large role for local councils, like EMLC, where CoG has one.  Basic membership information is available at http://www.cog.org/aboutcog.html#memberapps. If you or your group is in Florida, you would apply for membership through EMLC. Contact us at em at cog dot org for further information about membership, meetings, getting to know us, etc. Most of our members are located in South Florida, but we'd love for more folks from around Florida to join EMLC and to develop more than one local council in Florida! There's certainly enough room here for more than one! |

Peter Dybing, CoG's current First Officer, has started a Pagan relief effort for Japan.  His goal is to raise $30,000 for Doctors Without Borders work there.  Please consider giving.  The donation page is here, at firstgiving.com.  As a caring human, Wiccan and the First Officer of CoG's Everglades Moon Local Council, I wholeheartedly support  Peter's effort.  He's posted a message of thanks for the giving to date, and you can learn more about him at his blog, Pagan in Paradise.  Let's keep getting the word out!
